There couldn't have been a better restaurant to enjoy a special brunch on a special day for this vintage loving girl than Vintage!
Vintage is a community restaurant on West Main Street in New Market, MD, serving comfort food (but taken up a notch or two or three) made with locally sourced ingredients. It's located in a, you guessed it, vintage building that has quite the history.
This was our first time at Vintage but most definitely not our last. The decor is lovely, a perfect blend of old and new and there were plenty of vintage elements for me to admire. Our whole experience was just fantastic. We received a call the morning after we made our online reservations to not only confirm those but to also alert us of a construction zone and how to best get to the parking lot behind the building.
The service was outstanding, very friendly and attentive, and the food was simply delicious. We tried the smoked salmon sandwich, the pancakes and the smores french toast ... oh my!
But don't just take my word for it. Check Vintage's reviews or better yet, go try it out yourself!
If you love vintage, locally owned businesses and shopping on Main Street USA, then you should visit New Market. Dine or brunch at Vintage, take a stroll along this quaint Main Street and shop for vintage and unique things.
New Market was once the Antique Capital of Maryland but lost many of its businesses after shopping online became more convenient for people. However, after the zoning was changed to allow other type of stores as well, New Market's Main Street has been coming back to life. There are a number of stores that are worth a visit and which provide a much better experience than your computer ever could!
A special brunch at Vintage in New Market and a bit of treasure hunting to boot
